Principal Dawn Stuart, self-appointed social coordinator to her friends
and associates, plans a wide array of events
from socials and business
meetings to weddings and charitable
benefits. She is happy to handle the details of an entire event or cover
one aspect to complement the work of your existing staff. Here are some
examples of this work:
Jubilate Worship Dance Conference, Spring 2010
Processed pre-conference registration and payments. Prepared participant folders and nametags. Worked with data base files.
Coordinated on-site registration and payment; supervised volunteers working the desk. Conference attended by 150 adults and children; 110 pre-registered and 40 walk-in.
Singles "Game Night" Social, February
2009
Responsible for promoting the event; securing venue and door prizes; managing
registration, set up and clean up.
Results: More than forty individuals participated (50/50 male/female
ratio). Many requested a repeat event; one participant said it was the
best singles event he had ever attended.
Volunteer
Recognition Event, September 2008
Planned and coordinated outdoor catered event for non-profit organization.
Developed theme and concept in conjunction with organization staff. Secured
in-kind donations and sponsorships. Recruited volunteer assistance. Oversaw
catering, decorations, entertainment, promotion, audio/visual, logistics,
set up, clean up and follow up.
Results: Contributed to the growth and success of the non-profit
organization by increasing camaraderie and engagement among volunteers.

Rabbit
Day at AniMall, November 2007
Responsible for coordinating a team of volunteers; managing publicity
through posters, media announcements and Web site; planning and scheduling
activities throughout the day; enlisting volunteer and rescue group participation;
and follow up.
Results: Up to 26 volunteers and 200 attendees (estimated) from
the general public participated; two on-site rabbit adoptions; $191 raised
to benefit rescue groups.
