Principal Dawn Stuart, self-appointed social coordinator to her friends
and associates, plans a wide array of events
from socials and business
meetings to weddings and charitable benefits. She is happy to handle the
details of an entire event or cover one aspect to complement the work
of your existing staff. Here are some examples of this work:
Wedding Floral Design and Coordination, October
2008
Responsible for design and assembly of bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres,
memory candle spray and cake topper. Developed colors and concepts to
match rust/gold fall color scheme and bride's floral preferences.
Volunteer
Recognition Event, September 2008
Planned and coordinated outdoor catered event for non-profit organization.
Developed theme and concept in conjunction with organization staff. Secured
in-kind donations and sponsorships. Recruited volunteer assistance. Oversaw
catering, decorations, entertainment, promotion, audio/visual, logistics,
set up, clean up and follow up.
Results: Contributed to the growth and success of the non-profit
organization by increasing camaraderie and engagement among volunteers.

Singles "Game Night" Social, August
2008
Responsible for promoting the event; securing venue and door prizes; managing
registration, set up and clean up.
Results: Forty individuals participated (50/50 male/female ratio).
Many requested a repeat event.
Wedding Floral Design
and Coordination, June 2008
Responsible for design and implementation of all flowers for church ceremony
and reception. Church florals included bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres,
pew markers, exterior swags, altar arrangements; reception florals included
two large contemporary arrangements and dinner table sprays.
Rabbit
Day at AniMall, November 2007
Responsible for coordinating a team of volunteers; managing publicity
through posters, media announcements and Web site; planning and scheduling
activities throughout the day; enlisting volunteer and rescue group participation;
and follow up.
Results: Up to 26 volunteers and 200 attendees (estimated) from
the general public participated; two on-site rabbit adoptions; $191 raised
to benefit rescue groups.
Wedding Reception, April 2007
Responsible for food planning and coordination. Met with mother of the
bride to plan menu; secured vendor estimates; rented linens and tables;
provided pick up/delivery of food and rented items; managed food presentation,
stocking and replenishing; supervised catering staff, set up and clean
up.
Results: Maintained conservative food budget without compromise
on quality of food and presentation.
