Wordspring Communications is the source for creative communication and
event project management. Principal Dawn Stuart has managed projects
from planning through evaluation for more than 12 years on a freelance
basis. Here are some examples of this work:
IABC NC Triangle
Chapter Marketing, 2006-2008
Responsible for maintaining Web site and twice monthly email communications
to the 100 members and approximately 100 prospects of this professional
association chapter. Implemented HTML-format e-newsletter. Managed work
of one vendor; recruited and managed contributions of eight volunteers,
including the coordinator of an online member survey in spring 2008.
CenturyTel Lifeline/Link-Up Communications,
2006-2007
Compiled and tracked data on the communications activities promoting Lifeline
and Link-Up telephone assistance programs for low-income households on
tribal lands. This data tracking supported the FCC-required reporting
by the Louisiana-based company with customers in 25 states.
RBC (Centura) Bank
Publication Production Management, 2000-2004
Managed production of two print magazines for this regional bank. Scheduled
and coordinated work of "virtual agency:" independent freelance
writers, graphic designers, photographers and printer. Secured and negotiated
rates with photographers in locations across the southeast U.S.
Non-profit Capital
Fundraising Campaign, 2000
Managed print and video communications for this non-profit campaign raising
$2.9 million for capital building renovations and improvements. Worked
with numerous volunteer chairpersons. Named Best in Division (Campaigns)
by Raleigh Public Relations Society's 2000 Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for
Excellence in Communication.
